A Dozen Cousins’s Story
A Dozen Cousins is a natural food brand that makes convenient products inspired by traditional Creole, Caribbean and Latin American foods. Created by Ibraheem Basir, he launched the company in 2018 inspired by it being so hard to find convenient foods that were both healthy and authentic. A Dozen Cousins use wholesome, easy-to-recognize ingredients like beans, vegetables, and nutrient dense avocado oil while avoiding GMO’s and artificial flavors. In addition to making healthy and delicious products, A Dozen Cousins provides an annual grant (and volunteer support) to non-profit organizations that are working to eliminate socio-economic health disparities in the US.
